Tula Pink in Australia (part 2)

This is the second part of my blog post about the Tula pink trunk show hosted by Fifis Fabricology - part one can be found here.
Along with her gorgeous quilts, Tula also bought along some beautiful bags, and being a bit of a bag-lady myself, I loved them all!
Many of the bags are made by Sara from Sew Sweetness.
This duffle was the first bag Tula has made and it was fabulous.
So many different styles of bags on display - one for every purpose!
Loved this camera bag featuring the Tiger from Eden.
Gothic Arches (Elizabeth) - incredible quilting by Angela Walters who does custom quilting on all of Tula quilts - I found more details of this quilting on Angelas blog here.
Space Dust (The Birds and the Bees) - Tula said that she uses 2 layers of batting which gives more detail to the quilting for photos.
Free Fall backing in Battleship  - I can't remember which quilt this was but these would be fabulous for making a whole cloth quilt.
Slow and Steady is Tulas 20th fabric collection which was inspired by the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.
The colours are just so vibrant!
The 3 colourways for this range are named after slushies - Strawberry Kiwi, Orange Crush and Blue Raspberry!
Fandango quilt (Slow and Steady) - the solids Tula uses are Free Spirit solids and this lime green is so lovely.
And a few other quilts that were on display made by Fifis Fabricology  - a colour workshop quilt.
Junes'  beautiful Blue Butterfly.
And another 100 modern block quilt by Trish.
And last but not least a super cute Hedhgehog quilt complete with pink glasses.
Tula was asked if she would ever do an Aussie inspired fabric collection so maybe this little koala out the front of the Currumbin RSL where the trunk show was held might inspire her !!!!

  5. What inspired the bubbles and the birds? Are the birds doves?
