Bonnie & Camille Gypsy Wife quilt

The Gypsy Wife quilt has been on my "to-do" list for some time now and I have finally finished mine!
I loved the Bonnie and Camille version of the quilt which was made by @jennfortuna (twinfibers) a few years ago so dug into my B&C stash for the fabrics.
There have been a few Gypsy Wife "quilt-alongs" over the years and I was extremely grateful for the resources from all of them, especially the fabulous strip cutting guide by Hydeeannsews.
I decided to quilt it myself using the serpentine stitch as I could easily follow along the seams of the strips.
We had a perfect warm and sunny winters day recently so I was able to take some photos at a local sunflower farm.
The back of the quilt is one of my favourites also - the Britten Nummers quilt from Ikea which I thought was quite appropriate for the numbers of blocks required for this quilt:)
Many thanks to @scrappyviolet and @stitchedincolor for hosting this amazing QAL. It was wonderful to see so many beautiful quilts made!

"Nessie" baby quilt

A baby quilt I have wanted to make for a while is the Nessie quilt by Elizabeth Hartman.
It is a free pattern over on the Robert Kaufman site here.
I quilted this one myself using the Serpentine stitch on my sewing machine - really quick and easy to do and it gives such great texture!
The back is pieced from a few large fabric pieces and I couldn't resist using a very special Tula Pink print from her new Pinkerville range.
There are a few different creatures in the "Blind Faith" print including a unicorn, swan and of course a lovely Loch Ness Monster.

Pastel crochet baby blanket

A friend of mine is due to have her baby girl very soon and I wanted to make a gift for her so after finding this lovely pastel yarn, decided on a baby blanket.
I did the corner-to-corner pattern again as it is quick and easy to do once you get started.
This yarn is so lovely and soft and the colours are really pretty.
When the colours come through in these variegated yarns they look so nice - and there is a bonus of no ends to weave in!
Then just a simple single crochet around the edge.
There was enough yarn remaining for a baby bonnet which was very kindly made by @gatheredcreations.

Endgame mini quilt.

Jemina Flendt of Tied with a Ribbon patterns recently hosted a quiltalong to make the Endgame quilt.
I chose to sew the mini quilt version of the pattern which I could make into a pillow.
I used a variety of Tula Pink fabrics, mainly Zuma leftover from the Anchors Aweigh quilt.
The pattern was fairly easy to sew although some of those pesky points just didn't want to meet up!
The quilting was quite simple just following the lines of the triangles.
The pillow is bound in aqua to match many of the fabrics that were used in it.
And backed in a lovely deep blue shot cotton.
