Goody Goody Binding kit

This is a little Goody Goody Binding kit I made recently as a thank-you gift for a friend up in Brisbane.

This pattern is by Vanessa at Lella Boutique and is such a cute and useful sewing kit. 

For the main panel, I made one block from the new Flower Patch mini by Thimbleblossoms and added in some scrappy strips for the rest.

In the Flower patch mini pattern, these flower blocks are made using applique, but as I initially thought the blocks were made using Drunkards path templates, I used my 3" DP templates to make the block.

I used a mix of Bonnie and Camille fabrics as they are one of her favourite designers.

On the inside, there is a zip pocket to hold binding clips or other notions such as EPP for hexies.

There is a little shaped pocket in the pattern so of course I had to use some of the new Hello darling strawberry fabric to make this:)

And a slip pocket on the other side.

I just need to make one of these for myself now:)
