WIP Wednesday

At the last Sunday Sew-in at our LQS, I managed to get all of the blocks sashed in my Simply Solids Bee X and + quilt. After spending far too much time playing around with the layout of the blocks, I ended up sewing them together in our Fallow group order
When the fog lifted this morning, it was sunny enough to take the quilt top outside to take some photos...
And I managed to get a very colourful "stained glass" type pic too.

  1. Fog! That probably means you had a sunny day! All we had today was rain! But your solids quilt top has been some much needed sunshine in my day! Very pretty!

  10. I love the bright colors and the boldness of the black. Brignt solids make such a bold statement. (After a lifetime of acquiring batiks and prints, I'm starting in on solids.)

  13. This is fantastic. The pattern really works well with the solids, sometimes prints in this block look way too busy.
