Tula Pink Butterfly quilt

The Tula Pink Butterfly quilt has long been on my to-do list and I had a put aside a FQ bundle of Eden fabric for when I finally got around to making it.
When Angie @gnomeangel announced the sewalong earlier this year I decided that it was the perfect opportunity to join in and make it at last!
The quilt looks more complicated that it really is as it is mainly composed of simple quilt blocks such as log cabins, flying geese and HST's - although those round blocks certainly were a bit more challenging!
I used a Prima solid in silver for the background fabric and managed to buy some of the Eden moth fabric in Amethyst for the backing.
As this is a fairly large quilt, I sent it to my local quilter Karen at Rainbow Patchwork to be long arm quilted.
Now I just have to wait until it cools down for winter so I can put this quilt on our bed...
This was on my FAL Q4 list for this year so linking up with the 2017 FAL team.
