Last year I made a fox mini quilt for a swap and ever since have wanted to make another one.
So I chose some of my favourite prints from Carolyn Friedlander along with some charcoal shot cotton for the background.
These foxes are a small version of the Fancy Fox quilt pattern by Elizabeth Hartman.I cut all of the fabrics so that I could quickly chain piece them together...
And it didn't take long before I had them all pieced.
Then it was just some quick straight line quilting and binding in the ledger print from Architectures.
Beautiful. I love the dark grey of this. It reminds me I must get bolder with my backgrounds. Too often I run for white/off white.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are keeping this one for yourself Kirsten! It's a beauty! Love the cross hatch quilting too! It adds such texture and character to their faces!
