"Corners" block

For her block in the Fallow group of the Simply Solids bee, Salsyq has chosen a "Corners" block using a tutorial from the Gourmet Quilter. 
This was quite a straightforward block to make and I think they will all look very effective sewn together.
And I have selected a few fabrics to make up my Sidekick tote - hoping to make a start on this later on...

    Really cool block! I can see how it would make a neat effect with lots of those blocks in one quilt.

    Sidekick tote - I keep feeling like I want to make one! Is this your first one?
