Landscapes "Meadow" scarf.

It is my mums birthday this month and I wanted to make her something to go along with a nice pendant that I had already bought for her.
I used Lionbrand Landscapes yarn in the "Meadow" colourway to make this scarf using corner to corner (C2C) crochet.
This scarf only took one skein of yarn and the colours are just perfect for a lovely neckwarmer.
The pendant I also have for mum is one I purchased at the St Kilda markets when I went to Melbourne back in January for the Australian Open tennis.
It is by a local Victorian artist Sue James who does beautiful pottery art and I know mum will just love these Australian wildflowers.

Tula Pink ColorDive quilt

I recently participated in a Tula Pink Charm Square swap when I received the charms back, I knew that they would be perfect for a Color Dive quilt using a pattern by Anna Maria Horner.
I only swapped for a about a quarter of the charms I needed so cut the rest from my stash before organising them by colour ready for the quilt.
There are prints from many of Tula Pinks fabric ranges so far as well as some of the new All Stars, Tent Stripes, Pom Pom dots, and solids.
There are also quite a few HST's needed for the pattern - it was my first time using a Bloc-loc ruler to trim the HST and it made it so much quicker!
This quilt finished at 63 x 72" and it was quilt long arm quilted at my LQS, Rainbow Patchwork.

The blue backing is the same as I used for the "Love Cats" quilt that I made  a few months ago and the quilt is bound in an aqua solid..
We went down to the beach to take some photos - although it is still winter here in Australia, we have had some beautiful warm and sunny days.
