Flannel baby quilt

A friend from work is expecting her first grandbaby soon, so I wanted to make a gift for the new baby.
When they found out she was having a daughter, I chose some flannel fabrics in soft pastel shaded for the quilt.
The fabrics were cut into 20 cm (8") squares then arranged into rows to make the quilt.
Then just did some diagonal quilting through each of the squares to keep it nice and soft.
The backing is also a flannel in a cute pink bunny print which matched the binding perfectly.
Hoping little Maisy will enjoy her soft and cuddly new quilt.
This was on my Q3 FAL list for this year so linking up with the 2018 FAL team.
