The scrappy Swoon block for the Pantone Radiant Orchid challenge is sewn and for the quilting I chose a King Tut thread in a pinkish plum colour which I think matches the fabrics well.
Now that I have done this dense straight line quilting, I am planning on making this block into a pillow/cushion.
So are you making something for the Pantone challenge project this year? The link up will be open from 14-21 March so I need to finish my project this week as I also have another one on the go.
Oooh, looking fab so far!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I was planning on doing something for this, but I'm so overwhelmed with other projects right now that I'm going to have to sit it out after all.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! It'll be interesting to see everyone's finished work for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks gorgeous! Do I spy some silk fabric in there?

The quilting is very effective Kirsten! I'm looking to see all the radiant Orchid creations.
ReplyDeletePretty! I love your about me! :) Made me smile because while quilting has stuck around the longest, I love to dabble in other crafts too!
ReplyDeleteI love the colours and quilting on this block :)
