Colourful Grannys - part 2

I worked on a sewing project last week, but as it is for a secret swap, I can't share any pics as yet. 
One thing I can show is the completed top for the sewing machine cover that I am making out of A Stitch In Color fabric.
I have joined the blocks together with grey sashing and I really love these how these fabrics look with grey!

  6. Your granny quilt is one of the best use of this fabric I've seen. They are really highlighted without being overwhelming and the gray is a perfect balance to the rich color.

  8. Oh my goodness, how pretty! I envy you for having the quilt basted, that's the next step I have to do with 3 of my finished tops and just can't get to it! :))) One of these days I'll get over myself... :D
