WIP - Zakka sew along : Cloud mug rug.
I am still zakka-ing along. and this week we are up to making the Cloud Mug rugs. I haven't done needle turn applique before so I think my cloud is not as curvy as it should be!
Not sure if I will leave it there or take it off and just use some fusible webbing to attach it like I have done with this leaf.
It is from the Nesting boxes pattern in the back of the book. Much happier with this:)

Yeah - I didn't realize still I started seeing finished mug rugs about the applique....not sure I have the patience for that right now either....esp. love your leaf!

ReplyDeleteKirsten...I didn't even bother with needle turn technique...I just used fusible webbing machine appliqued the cloud on. Glad you are on board with the Zakka Sew-Along.
