Your pillow cover is great and I love the prints and orange thread. My favorite thing to sew is still quilts. It doesn't matter what size. Sometimes I like piecing better and sometimes I like the actual quilting better.

ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely and the fabric you used is some of my favorite! I am quilt obsessed lately. I have made a quilt for almost everyone in my family. I can't justify making quilts just to make them, so I've resorted to joining up with an organization that donates quilts to children in the hospital. Win-win situation. Yay!

ReplyDeleteVery nice pillow cover - which is also my favorite thing to make. Some of the farmer's markets here in Austin have vendors who sell brocade or tapesty scraps, and I make those into different designs to cover pillows.

ReplyDeleteLove these fabrics, love your orange thread. This is an adorable pillow, how can you give it up?? Hope you made one for yourself, too! My favorite things to make are little projects like pincushions, pillows, table runners, or quilts with big giant blocks so they go together quickly. I'm an impatient quilter.

ReplyDeleteGoodness you are generous! That pillow cover is lovely. I especially like the look of the dark orange quilting. My favorite thing to sew lately is t-shirts for myself! I took a pattern drafting class that was also to teach us sewing knits without a serger and now I'm addicted to having these great-fitting t-shirts. (But before that, my favorite thing was/ is patchwork.)
