The June theme for the challenge up at Le Challenge was "Maritime" so I thought that I would use this opportunity to make my dad a couple of zippered pouches that he had asked for.
My parents live by the beach and my father is a very keen fisherman, so this "Fishy" drill was just right for the pouch for him. I used some fusible interfacing for the inside.
And then I remembered this Sweetwater "Reunion" fabric with the years printed on it - I thought that it was perfect for him to keep his portable hard drive in for the History group that he is involved in. And even better, it was Navy in colour - you can't get more Nautical than that!!
He he he. Both are perfect for the "maritime" theme! I love the fishies. :)
