Following on from my last post about the Tangerine Tango challenge, I have gone through my stash and surprisingly, found quite a few tangerine/orange fabrics:
(solids, spots,Denyse Schmidt,Amy Butler,Joel Dewberry,Sandi Henderson)
Whilst I was looking for images, I kept going back to this one which I think would be stunning made into a quilt. It is the cover of Gotye's album "MakingMirrors" - lots of little HST's in neutral tones. You may be familiar with this amazing song from the album - the video is very visually inspiring too:

ReplyDeletelove your oranges!! I don't have that many, but am pulling them together. You'll see a similar post from me sometime soon! ;-)
ReplyDeleteKirsten love your orange stash! Lush fabrics :)
ReplyDeleteThe mosaic is very inspiring, that owl quilt is on my list of 'to do' quilts!
Loving that orange challenge. I've also put in for the Love of Solids. Hoping I haven't bitten off more than I can chew!
ReplyDeleteOoh, that's quite the collection of orange! I'm loving that album cover, would make a fab solids quilt, so if you get me, that would work, okay? ;o)
ReplyDeleteLove your pile of tangerine.
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting to see if someone would make the album cover into a quilt. Love the song!
