Bonnie & Camille Gypsy Wife quilt

The Gypsy Wife quilt has been on my "to-do" list for some time now and I have finally finished mine!
I loved the Bonnie and Camille version of the quilt which was made by @jennfortuna (twinfibers) a few years ago so dug into my B&C stash for the fabrics.
There have been a few Gypsy Wife "quilt-alongs" over the years and I was extremely grateful for the resources from all of them, especially the fabulous strip cutting guide by Hydeeannsews.
I decided to quilt it myself using the serpentine stitch as I could easily follow along the seams of the strips.
We had a perfect warm and sunny winters day recently so I was able to take some photos at a local sunflower farm.
The back of the quilt is one of my favourites also - the Britten Nummers quilt from Ikea which I thought was quite appropriate for the numbers of blocks required for this quilt:)
Many thanks to @scrappyviolet and @stitchedincolor for hosting this amazing QAL. It was wonderful to see so many beautiful quilts made!
This was on my Q2 FAL 2019 list so linking up with the 2019 FAL team here.
Kirsten.
