A fabric basket for the birthday girl...

For her birthday, I made Gemma this fabric basket to match the pyramid door stop from a few weeks ago - I just used the size of the lining piece as a guide to cutting the Joel Dewberry Aviary Damask fabric rather than doing the patchwork as in Ayumi's tutorial .Gem received a lovely pearl bracelet from her grandparents too and is going to keep it in there along with her other jewellery.

And because my mum has been asking for a photo of my three children together for a while now, here they are ready for school. As they all have their birthdays in early September (first and eleventh), we always try to take an annual photo of them in front of the Yesterday-Today-Tomorrow tree as it looks its best in spring, but it is a bit late flowering this year ......
